Finding 1910 Ancestry.com Census Images in One Step

The following instructions will get you close to the page you want. If they don't get you to your
exact page, you'll need to step forward or back a few frames. Read the "more details" links
under both the "Background" section below and the "Procedure" section below for tips
on doing this.

Ancestry.com has an online index and Heritage Quest has a CD index for the 1910 census that allows
you to search the census by name. Unfortunately the results found do not give any links to the census
images. So we need some means for navigating to the image.

errors involved with their links, many of which are compensated for by this One-Step utility. See

Here’s how you would use it:
1. Do the name search and record the state, roll, part, and page. You can do that search either on
the Heritage Quest CDs, the Ancestry.com website, or the
One-Step Census Search by Name utility.
2. Enter the state, roll, part, and page (including suffix) in the fields below.
Then press the Display button.
